The Design-A-Bot course covers a broad range of digital design fields. It includes 2D graphic design, 3D modeling & animation, and video editing & compositing. It's perfect for learning how to navigate the two main visual design programs we use at Motif Class (GIMP & Blender). Your student will design, animate, and texture a custom 3D robot. They'll add text and even an instrumental track to complete the animation.

The Develop-A-Game course takes students through the entire process of making a 2D platform game. Everything from content creation and world physics to mapping out the levels and exporting their game to share with friends. Your student will learn elements of project management, graphic design, game logic, and much more. They'll become skilled in the art program Piskel and the game engine GDevelop 5, finishing the course with a fully working video game!

The Code-A-Site course teaches the fundamentals of HTML & CSS in an engaging project-based way. Students will create an entire custom website from scratch. They'll add text, pictures, video, multiple pages, lists, and more! This course offers a lot for both the beginner and experienced student. They'll learn the popular and free coding software VSCodium, and be writing actual code with no blocks!

Horizonary sparks curiosity, builds real-world skills, and opens new horizons so students can dream big and explore the future they envision. It is hands-on, inspiring, and designed to help every learner grow as a visionary.

Students discover 20 STEM careers, such as Software Developer, Robotics Engineer, Environmental Scientist, Game Developer, and Mechanical Engineer.

They engage in digital activities, including:

• Mock interviews & project budgeting
• Memory-building & typing exercises
• “Day in the life” experiences of STEM professionals
• Other interactive mini-games that build reinforce skills

All of this is part of a broad, engaging curriculum designed to spark curiosity and prepare students for a wide range of future possibilities.

Motif Club meets digitally once a week in a video group setting. While the club does contain elements of group learning and friendly competitions, students mainly work on advancing through their skill tree individually at their own pace. Their highly knowledgeable instructor stands by to answer questions, troubleshoot, and mentor them through their STEM learning journey. The club is much more than a course, as it incorporates diverse STEM subjects, mentorship, and peer camaraderie. Kids have a blast!

Throughout the Produce-A-Beat course students will learn about music theory & audio production all while having a blast! They'll create their own multi layered track with bass, drums, chords, melodies, and more! They'll also learn about instruments, song structure, timing, and mixing. We use the popular audio production software FL Studio.
